This page is purely speculation and will organize possible 2016 candidates by party in alphabetical order. Any possible candidate must have at least 4 references adding legitimacy to the speculation.

Republicans (If Obama is Reelected) Edit

Chris Christie Edit

Since the New Jersey Governor made it clear over 30 times in 2011 that he would not seek the 2012 GOP Nomination, he has instantly flown to the top of 2016 speculation. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Nikki Haley Edit

Ever since Haley announced her candidacy for South Carolina governor in 2010, she instantly became a 2012 Vice Presidential hopeful. She has since denied her intentions to gain a VP spot, but some analysts say she may have endorsed Mitt Romney in hopes to serve in his Presidential administration. However, Vice President in 2012 or not, she could easily run for the GOP nod in 2016.[5] [6] [7] [8]

Marco Rubio Edit

After he decisively won the 2010 Senate election from Florida, Rubio has been in the talks of becoming the first Hispanic Vice President in American history. After denying any intentions of appearing on the national 2012 ticket, analysts have proposed a possible 2016 run. [9] [10] [11] [12]

Rand Paul Edit

Senator Rand Paul's father, Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX), has run for President three times. In the process, he has greatly advanced the Libertarian movement. Rand, elected in 2010 to represent Kentucky in the U.S. Senate, seems to be the heir of his father's fan base and coalitions. This paves the way for a possible 2016 Presidential run. Democrats Edit

Debbie Wasserman Schultz Edit

Martin O'Malley Edit
