Teddy Roosevelt

Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt (October 27, 1858-January 6, 1919) was the 26th President of the United States and has his head on Mount Rushmore alongside Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and George Washington. He was a conservative hunter, fisherman, lumberjack, and farmer who established a lot of national parks in the American northwest. He was also in the military during the Spanish-American War. His division was called the "Rough Riders." He also helped Japan and Russia end a war with each other, thus winning the Nobel Peace Prize. The teddybear was named after him.
